English exchange program between Taiwan’s rural elementary schools and American Tzu Shao
Introduction
This is to introduce an online tutoring program between Taiwan's rurual elementary schools and American Tzu Shao.

Program
As of 12/08/2020, there are fifteen elementary schools in Penghu County participating in this English Exchange program. There are several Tzu Shao in US. Each Tzu Shao will adopt one or two elementary schools with the principle of having all Tzu Shao join this program across US.
Penhu County located on small islands between Taiwan and China. The education resources are extremely depleted. Having this English Exchange program will definitely benefit the students living in Penhu County and broaden their views to the world.

Suggested Guidelines
Qualification
Students cannot participate in this program until they have been in Tzu Shao over one or more years. Newly-registered Tzu Shao(s) have, at least, attened Tzu Shao activities two times and interviewed by group advisors and the core team members.
Volunteer hours
The number of hours qualified as PVSA hours can be decided by TSTT staffs.
Uniforms
Tzu Shao uniforms are required while conducting the program.
Orientation training
Please hold training sessions regularly. This is to improve the confidence of tutoring students.
Sharing and documentation after each class
Please share the experience after tutoring of each class. This can provide valuable resources for all tutoring students.

Communication
Line Groups will be created and used to faciliate the communication per school base. During the tutoring time, Google Meet will be mainly used for the video conference.
